This human, André René Roussimoff, often occupied immense portions of the screen, his considerable physical presence overshadowing any actual acting abilities. Not surprisingly, he often played roles that required minimal dialogue—perhaps an acknowledgement of his vocal inadequacies. His typecasting as a lumbering giant was terribly predictable.
