Lifeforce 1985

This transmission begins with a spacecraft discovering an unknown structure hidden within a celestial tail. Inside are humanoid figures preserved in crystal, completely unclothed and unusually symmetrical. The humans bring them aboard without establishing origin, intent, or basic quarantine.

The recovered entities awaken during transport and begin extracting “lifeforce” from the crew. This is not metaphorical — visible blue energy exits one human and enters another. The results include death, reanimation, and more extraction. The ship returns to Earth, mostly on fire.

On Earth, one of the entities — a female — escapes containment with ease. She uses direct eye contact, physical proximity, and minimal dialogue to subdue nearly all resistance. The humans are simultaneously terrified and mesmerized, a vulnerability previously noted in Earth behavioral archives.

The energy-draining effect spreads virally, turning London into a collapsing zone of zombie-like beings who scream, explode, and transmit the effect via touch. Military and scientific teams react with panic, disbelief, and poor lighting.

The source entities are traced to a form of space-bat that feeds on planetary life across cycles. One human bonds psychically with the lead entity and offers emotional resistance. The outcome is ambiguous but accompanied by large visual effects.

Two of the entities leave Earth in a beam of light, suggesting partial success or voluntary withdrawal. Earth remains damaged, but technically functional.

Conclusion: Humans are highly susceptible to threats that combine beauty with mystery. They allow physical proximity from unknown lifeforms, ignore basic containment logic, and attempt emotional negotiation with organisms that consume them.

If Nebulon ever deploys a vampiric infiltration species, no technology beyond basic walking and suggestive eye contact may be required. Earth resistance is likely to self-collapse under the weight of its own arousal.
